Today smashbros.com anounced a new stage called WarioWare, featuring a few of the minigames in the WarioWare games. Looks like it will be fun. Also, just one more day until I will move all the news on this page to the Archived Updates.

Unfortunately, yesterday I couldn't update due to my cold but I'll make it up today. Smashbros.com announced the Pokemon Trainer's special moves today. Most of them look pretty cool. And today, smashbros.com announced Gliding, which some characters can glide (wow that was complex). Gliding looks like a pretty good tactic for gameplay. Posted 2 images below. Last, I can't wait until saturday because then I can move all of the news to the Archived Updates section so this page isn't such a large file.

I told you guys I would be updating the layout today, and whaddya know? A style switcher! Awesome! Lets hope it brings me everything but grief in the years to come. Next, I added the milestones page. It tells the dates that I covered specific tasks (look at it to see what I mean). And last but not least, we've reached 500 hits! Woot! Time to make an image for the splash!
I just added a new page. That new page is "The Cardless Card Trick". It includes the first javascript I've ever written in my life. Woot! Plus, this is the first addition to the fun category since the jurassic era. Enjoy. And just for the heads up, I'll probably be doing a layout update today. What that update will be, well you'll just have to find out. Maybe.
Smashbros.com announced today Andross, a demon head thing from Star Fox that shoots polygonal shapes at you, and made a list of special moves. I'll post a couple of those screenshots. Other than that, I guess Metroid Prime 3 came out yesterday so I made a mistake. Hope I wasn't the cause of you getting your game late.

Smashbros.com announced today the Super Spicy Curry, which is an item that, when you pick it up, lets you breath flames. It also looks as if you are on fire, and i'm pretty sure you can do fire puches and kicks with it. Pretty cool. Also, tomorrow the long awaited Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is released for the Wii. Let's hope it turns out good.

So, like I mentioned earlier, I added the Favicons page. Then, as a lot of you probably have been waiting for, I added the Metroid games section. It doesn't have any pages for it yet though. It would be greatly appreciated if you could donate information.
I just uploaded a new favicon as many of you can tell. For those of you who don't know what a favicon is, it's the little icon that you see next to my website URL and with tabs, it's on the title bar of the tab. I think I'll make a section about that now...

I just added a new page, the Special Thanks page. It's a page where I've written about people that helped in me making this site. About the banner problem, I'm still working on it.
The banner and the splash banner appear to be not working in Mozilla Firefox. I'm not sure if it's just my computer, so it may work fine on your computer. Note that this ONLY APPLIES TO MOZILLA FIREFOX. Internet Explorer seems to be running the site really well however, which is new...Anyway, I have some news. Smashbros.com announced today Petey Pirahna from Super Mario Sunshine that Apparently will be a Boss battle. It looks like you get to rescue either Zelda or Peach, but what happens to the one you don't rescue? Only time will tell...
After a lot of searching I finally found a good chatroom! It's really good and I like how it works! I hope that it will serve the site well for years to come.

Well, as you probably can see, I just uploaded a new banner. I have two reasons for doing so. 1; I wanted to, 2; The splash banner now is different from the real banner so now we can pretend it was the splash banner all along. I thing I might start changing a few of the bg colors to bluish one because this dark theme seems rather depressing...
Today at smashbros.com they announced Yoshi's "Final Smash". It's this crazy move where he shoots fireballs and grows wings and stuff like that. I'll post some screenshots.

Today smashbros.com announced "The Subspace Army". They are trying to take apart earth for some reason. Screenshots below. Also I added 3 buttons to the bottom of each page which you can use.

Today smashbros.com announced Link's Special Moves. They are the Gale Boomerang, Hero's Bow, Bomb, Spin Attack, and Clawshot. Nice! I'll post six screenshots for these moves.

I just added the "Using SSI" page. Also as some of you may have noticed, I have scrapped the "Newest Pages" thing because it's a pain in the rear to update it every time I add a page. Plus I always forget to do it anyway.
As of now the Poll is officially back up. So go make or remake your vote.
The SSB website officially announced today "Tether Recovery". This cool feature is where if you get knocked off the/a platform, you use a sepcial move and something will shoot out and grab onto the ledge, thus saving you. Although the screenshots(1 of which is below) only show Zero Suit Samus doing it, the site also hints that other characters may be able to do this nifty move too. Beyond news, you may have noticed I haven't been doing a lot of updates lately. One word. "School". So if anyone wants to help the site, you can write up information pages like on the PokemonD/P and R/S/E pages. If you would like to help, send me an e-mail via the contact me page.

Well schools started yesterday, so I dont' have much computer time lately. Anyway, a couple days ago I added the About FTP page so if you care read it. For updates, in SSBB a new character has been announced and that is the Pokemon Trainer (screenshot below). You don't really play in the battles as the Trainer but you use a Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard to fight for you- but only one at a time. Also the Assist Trophy "Devil" from the NES game Devil World is available.

Looking through PC World's top 100 products, I saw that the Nintendo Wii was number three on that list. Other products included Mozilla Firefox (the best web browser ever) and Gmail. Look at that list Here.
I added the 'About FTP' section.
I updated the games sections to have categories. So far I have one category, and that is the Pokemon Games category. Today I also added two Information pages to the Pokemon Games category. Now with this Categories idea, I have a TON of work to do, and little time. I may need to enlist help. But that's a tentative idea (=. That's all for now.
I've had to remove all of the Freewebs things, so that means that the Chat Page, and the Poll will be temporarily unavailable. I also had to get a new hit counter but that's ok- I like this new one better. There doesn't seem to be any news today. I plan on making BIG site updates soon which means lots more content. Well, more content is the main things I'm aiming at. Bye.

With the web hosting came new programming languages I could use, databases, a large sum of Hard Drive space. So I uploaded the forums. That was an adventure. Now that it's done, I added a theme called SuperMario. It probably won't stay, but it's just for now. So the forums are a work in progress. Want to see how much longer till their complete? Look at the left nav bar. That's it for now, I'm just working on my site...
Earlier this morning, I bought webhosting!!! And a domain too!!! Yes! So... Our new site is www.hybridgoomba.com . Change your links (if you ever had one). In other news, the SSBB official website has announced the item "Franklin Badge". It Makes the wearer invincible to projectile attacks. Those attacks also bounce off of the wearer. Below I added a picutre of Kirby wearing the badge (obviously this isn't how your supposed to wear it). In still other news, I added a new affiliate. Please welcome Metroid Headquarters. Please give them a visit.

Gee, you think I've made enough buttons yet? I guess you can't be sure. Anyway I added 2 new ones. I'm crossing my fingers for that web hosting tonight. I don't think I mentioned it but I added a new image and a feature to the CSS so now I have a "titlebar" for the pages. I only have it on the Link to Us page right now but I think you'll see it popping up more and more.
I added an new 88x16 linking button which is, in fact, the first 88x16 button for the site. Other than that I have some news. In SSB, Pit seems to have now an ability to call upon the gods and have them fight with him. Pretty cool I guess. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption I think should be coming out in less than a month, and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass seems to be selling pretty good again in Japan. For those of you that do not know, Phantom Hourglass' US release date is October 1st. Metroid Prime 3 is released on August 27th. Hopefully I can purchase hosting later today. It's to bad I couldn't yesterday- I was really looking forward to it. Oh well. Later.

I just made and added three new buttons AND I might be buying hosting alter tonight. What a deal!
First off, I modified the CSS so it was valid. Then I put that Validation button in the right side of the document. I think I'm about ready to get web hosting so keep waiting.
Updated the splash a bit (if you could even call it that) and I touched up the links on the left and right menus.
I did a huge layout update today. I think I learned my lesson on what CSS can do. But besides that, I haven't really added any new pages but I hope I can make sections soon. Hope you like it!

First off, I added the new background image. Then I added the Navigation image. I added the Guestbook and the Preferred Software page. I also updated the Current Poll and the Link to us page. That's just about it.
The Castle of the Hybrid Goomba has been up for a while now, yet now I have to touch up everything I screwed up before. Noctowl's Twilight Region has now been combined with The Castle of the Hybrid Goomba. I seem to have lost a lot of interest in Pokemon. Oh well. I'm still trying to get the links, layout, images, and background to all work together nicely so I hope I'll have it done soon.
