Well today's Christmas Eve, so I decided to just wish you all Happy Holidays. Unfortunately I was not able to make a cool Holiday layout update this year like other websites- hopefully next year. I may do some more content updates after Christmas, so keep stopping by. And also, I'm hoping to get the new layout up soon. Well, that's it so I hope you all have a nice Christmas(or Hanukkah or whatever else you celebrate)! I did a couple of all around updates just to make some of the pages a little. I replaced the Site Milestones with the all new Past Layouts section. Also, I just wanted to let you know that I won't be doing much updating this week and next week because they're finals weeks and I have lots of homework and studying to do. Just thought you'd like to know. I did quite a bit today, you should be happy. First off, I'd like to welcome a new affiliate: Luigi's Shack! They are a Nintendo fansite themed around Luigi. They offer a lot of content, and things, so be sure to give them a visit. New I added the Super Mario 64 DS video I was talking about. Visit the Videos page to see it. Next, I added 3 new game pages: Yoshi's Island, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I'm finally getting on a roll on these things after a long dry spell of no new game pages. Otherwise, I don't know if I'm going to be able to upload more new content tonight, but I'll probably work on it some, althought that's no guarantee. An article written by Yahoo! tells how hard it can be to find a Wii this Holiday season. As most of us know, due to the popularity of the Wii, shortages are expected. Luckily, they offer some help on finding one. You can read the article here. Hope it helps you if you're looking for one. Nyko has released a wireless Nunchuk device for the Wii remote. There is a few picture below. Basically this handy contraption makes it so that you don't have to have that wire hanging in between the remote and nunchuk. Cool for those of you with a Wii that hate the wire. This is kind of funny to me because my friend has told me that he didn't think that this was ever going to happen. But I was a believer and now it's finally occurred! Nice! Special thanks to GoNintendo for this news. Here's the pic:
After a long time of no new game pages, I have added a new one. Super Mario 64 DS to be exact. Expect more later tonight. Not today, but recently IGN released their top 100 games of all time list for 2007, or IGN Top 100 Games 2007 to be more exact. The number 1 spot was Super Mario Bros. The number 4 spot was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which has held the #1 game of all time spot worldwide for many years. Number 5 was Super Mario 64, which, in it's self, is an amazing game because it introduced 3rd persion 3D gaming to many people. At the number 7 came Super Metroid, and at #8, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Kudos to Nintendo for making so many great games! Sitely, I'm going to be working on a couple pages for you today, so stay tuned for later tonight. I'm going to put the new layout on hold until Winter Break. Unless I find time. Well, that's it. Yeah, I have some news. First off, you might see the new search box at the top. Yes, I have added a new site search to the site. It's pretty nice, just try it out just for kicks. Next, the game Super Mario Bros. was featured in the newspaper comic "Foxtrot". I actually have a computer copy of the comic online, which can be viewed by clickinghere. Continuing on, yesterday, I beat Super Mario 64 DS for the second time, but this time I have captured the ending in digital form this time. Hopefully I will have that video up soon. Finally, today I played Super Mario Galaxy, and I must say, the game was designed incredibly well. I played the game for about one hour, and in that hour, I had a lot of fun with it. At the present time, I am not sure what score I would give it. Maybe later. Now, I must go. EDIT: Okay, I went, now I'm back. One more thing: we have a new affiliate! Please welcome Toad's Castle. They are another Nintendo fansite offering news, game information, and more. Make sure to give them a visit. And now, that is the end. Okay, well the truth is that I didn't get as much done as I had hoped over the weekend. Even so, I still did get a few things done. I updated the Affiliates section slightly, and also I made a Games "launch page" thing that you can access by clicking on the games header in the left nav bar. Currently I'm trying to get the next layout done, and actually, I'm almost done. Last thing, I moved all the November updates to the archived updates section(even though they were really meager). Winter break is coming up so hopefully I can do a lot of stuff to the site then. Well, see you later and Happy Holidays to all. |
