Metroid Prime: Hunters

Release Dates: US: March 20, 2006
Plot: "The key to ultimate power lies within the Alimbic Cluster". This message, transmitted to most of the universe, is recieved by the Galactic Federation. They send Samus Aran, the renowned bounty hunter, to destroy, or, if possible, retrieve, the "ultimate power". Little do they know that they aren't the only ones dispatching hunters to do the same thing...

Overview: Occurring after Metroid Prime but before Prime 2, most people consider Prime Hunters to be a spin-off of the original series. The story mode isn't very long, but it's required for unlocking other hunters for multiplayer battles. Many people consider the Multiplayer part of MPH to be the best part of the game. True enough, playing multiplayer takes quite a while to get old. When you're buddies aren't around to play local multiplayer, hop onto WFC where there's "always someone ready to play" for more of a challenge. MPH won the Nintendo Power "Best WFC (Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection) compatibility" award and the "Best FPS" for the DS.
